Highlights include performances of great Choral masterworks: Brahms, Berlioz, Verdi, Faure and Mozart Requiem Masses, Beethoven Missa Solemnis, Bach B Minor Mass, Handels Messiah, Vaughan Williams D ona Nobis Pacem, Stravinskys Symphony of Psalms, David Fanshawes African Sanctus and numerous other major and Minor Choral works. In June 2015, touring choir will perform Mozart's Requiem and Vivaldi's Gloria in Venice, Florence and Rome, Italy. By special invitation, Eugene Concert Choir will perform Bruckner E Minor Mass in Carnegie Hall in 2013. Touring ensembles from the Eugene Concert Choir organization have performed internationally in China, Australia, Germany, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic. In 1997, Eugene Concert Choir became resident company of Hult Center for Performing Arts, where we present our annual 3-Concert season and educational outreach event in the stunning 2 500-seat Silva Concert Hall. In 1985, Diane Retallack assumed leadership of the Choir, and energetically spearheaded its artistic development. The group begins as a collection of individuals who love to sing and needed an outlet for their passion, and who join together for the Performance of Handels Messiah, under direction of Philip Bayles.

As the future continues to be uncertain, ticket sales for our programs will be announced at a later time. We hope to present live Concert of Holidays Around World at Hult Center in December as a mix of live and recorded content, but if live concert cannot take place, we will look forward to presenting our holiday video as a gift to the community. Eugene Concert Choir is preparing to record a cheerful video of our Holidays Around World program. If you have tickets to the Celebration of Women Concert, please hold onto them as we look further to the future for the right time to present this concert.
Women are used to having to wait, and when we get to it, this concert will be amazing. Our Celebration of Women Concert, originally planned for last April, then postponed to November 15, is now further postponed to time to be determine. As challenges continue into Fall regarding safety of gathering and singing, we are continually adjusting our plans, and all of our programs appear to be tentative.
